CLUBS &
ACTIVITIES
GIN
A big thank you to all CISB staff and students! GIN was
able to raise 6100 RMB during Earth Week to put towards our charities (the
Animal Shelter, Me to We, Wokai, and the Migrant Children's Foundation).
Just a reminder - that you may no longer wear the Earth
Week T-shirts instead of your school uniform shirt.
Symbiotic Club
The Symbiotic Club is proud to announce that on May 4th CISB will be having a
Pink Shirt day in support of anti-bullying. This is a day that students
from grades 3 to 12 can wear pink shirts or ties in place of their school shirt
and/or ties as a way to show solidarity against bullying. Please
remember that the rest of the school uniform must still be worn. By
wearing pink on this day it says to others that you feel there is no place for
bullying at CISB and that you will offer support to anyone who is affected by
bullying. CISB takes bullying very seriously and encourages everyone to
support this great day.
The Symbiotic Club is now meeting every lunch hour at
1:05pm in Mr. Wilson's office to prepare for Pink Shirt Day. If you would
like to join this club please see Mr. Wilson or come to the meeting today.
